Crazy Pictures

So last weekend was pretty crazy. I know...last weekend was almost a WEEK ago, but when I try to type while holding and feeding Jeffrey, it doesn't work so well, so the only time I get to be on the computer when I can actually type something longer than one sentence doesn't happen a whole lot.

Anyway...last Saturday was the DAY we were supposed to get pictures taken with Shane's family. This is no small feat. All together there are 35 people to try and get complete pictures of. Those same 35 people have to be able to be at the same place at the same time on the same day. Kinda crazy to say the least. (We get to do it again in December with my family!)

At first we wondered if it would even happen because it was supposed to SNOW all day, but it did that on Friday instead, and Saturday was fairly beautiful and sunny.

So, we got pictures of all the individual families, and then one of the grandkids. Then, they were going to take one of just the siblings, and then one with the siblings and their spouses. Well...that didn't happen. One of Shane's brothers decided he had to prove how strong he still could be, and ended up dislocating his shoulder! So, that meant that there was no group shot, no sibling shot, no grandparents with grandkids shot, and no siblings and spouses shot.

We felt bad for the brother, and bad for Shane's mom, because she basically paid a photographer to come on location and shoot pictures of all her kids' families.

Of course, this seems to be a typical happening with Shane's family. Someone usually gets hurt or sick or something, and it has been Shane before, which is definitely not fun, so anyway...we were all glad that his brother ended up being fine once they got him to the hospital, doped him up, and put his shoulder back in.
