Today was pretty cold and rainy. There was snow on the tops of the mountains outside our house. Pretty sure my sister probably saw snowflakes where she lives today.
There is always a feeling I get when this time of year rolls around. The smells, the feel, the crisp air...apples, pumpkins, the last of garden produce and warm smells in the kitchen....mmm.
Today I cooked two turkeys in preparation for Jeffrey's blessing dinner. The house smelled amazing and made me look forward to Thanksgiving.
