Radney Foster - Angel Flight

I came across this song a few months ago, and happened to listen to it last night. It always makes me think of my relatives and friends that are in the air force and other divisions of the military and all they sacrifice to serve our country. My hubby told me it reminded him of a story his dad had told him. His dad was at a family party and a helicopter came flying overhead. His dad's sister made the comment that she hated helicopters because they are so noisy when they fly. His dad looked at her and told her that there was a time (when he served in Vietnam) that the sweetest sound to his ears, was that of a helicopter flying overhead, because it meant they were being flown out.
