Shane and Harrison had a lot of fun on their trip. It was a big father/son outing that included all of Shane's brothers, and their son's, as well as Grandpa, Grandpa Great, and some of their cousin's, and their cousin's kids. Wow, can we say testosterone?
So, it should come as no surprise that within the first three hours of being up there, Shane's brother wrecked his new motorcycle, and his nephews Nate and Carson were riding a four-wheeler and Nate rolled it, which broke Carson's leg. Sounds like fun, no?
Shane is a lot more careful than his brothers, by the way. (He really is.) After having so much fun the first day, the second day they went tubing down the river. Harrison had fun, even though he had some experiences with water that he didn't particularily enjoy.
I was very impressed that this year Shane and Harrison even remembered to put on sunscreen, so they only came home mildly red, versus prior years, where they came home and blistered. (I know, that's BAD! Believe me, we've had conversations on this.)

Dear Aunt Melissa, We thought the story about Uncle Shane Harrisons trip was funny. It sounded like a lot of fun to go tubing down the river. We are glad they only got a little bit sunburned this year. We have to remind daddy to wear his sunblock too.
